Ong Temple, also known as Quan De Temple or Nghia An Hoi Quan (義安會館), is a religious and cultural architecture of the Chaozhou people. In the temple, the god worshiped is Quan Vu, a figure from the Three Kingdoms period. To the Chinese, he was a man of integrity and virtue. Therefore, the temple is called Quan De Temple. This is not only a place of worship for the Trieu Chau Teochew people in  Saigon but also a valuable work of architecture and art from the second half of the 19th century—the beginning of the 20th century. In the temple, the deity is worshiped as Quan Công, a character from the Three Kingdoms period. For the Chinese, he was a virtuous person. Therefore, the temple is named Quan Đế shrine. This is also the meeting place of the Chaozhou people; it is also called Nghĩa An Hội Quán. However, this temple is often referred to as Ong temple according to many people’s habits.
