What do people say about Houston Arboretum & Nature Center in Texas 77024?

  • We always love an arboretum visit! Have been many times! Great spot for a hot day because there is shade and an indoor nature center to explore and cool off! All three of my kids have a blast for different reasons. We love the water pump and rope web to climb on, and we love all the critters inside!
  • Visit here as often as possible. The upgrades are finally done all throughout, and it’s really nice. It’s a calm, safe trail, settled right next to the 610 freeway. But once you’re inside the complex, you won’t know it one bit. It’s amazing, and we’ll lay it out. There are cool places to rent for things like weddings and educational events, and they’re always advertising special events open to the public.
  • Beautiful place to walk around and take children to. Be prepared to walk, so bring decent walking shoes. There is lots of nature around. They have a kid’s center where they can see different animals (turtles, frogs, and lizards). My daughter enjoys their summer camps too. She said it was among her favorite camps.
  • I like to come in the fall and winter when it is nice and cool. I spend all day here walking and getting lost in nature. The best place to enjoy nature without leaving the city Parking is free on Thursdays. I saw an alligator or crocodile once, and I’ve been looking for it ever since. I love to take lots of reference pictures and paint on-site.
  • A true sanctuary with carefully arranged trails. It seems like there’ve been a lot of conservation steps taken to revitalize the local ecosystem, so that makes the path-only requests all the more significant. I’m really grateful that there’s a spacious natural place.
