Green Lung Park is a well-kept park in the middle of HCMC City District 1. You can get your daily exercise here, among the trees and quiet of Tao Dan Park, which gets a little busy on the weekends.

• This is a really wonderful place, both for kids and adults alike. You can park in front of the entrance on the street. I usually come here in the morning, and it’s never too crowded. There is a small fountain in the middle and a little cactus garden. There is a playground with a sandbox, slides, and jungle gyms.
• I went to the park early in the morning. The trees provided a much-needed respite from the hot sun, and the shade made the air cooler. It’s a great place to people-watch and see locals go about their morning routines.
• The park was very pretty and peaceful. It is a beautiful place to go cycling and enjoy a picnic. Grab a blanket and some food, and spend your evening here. Make sure you don’t litter it, though!
• This place is fabulous. One of the coolest things about Vietnam is all of the activities that go on in the park on a regular basis. Seriously, if you come to Saigon and don’t walk through this park, you’ve missed out. Beats many other attractions.
• While I was on my way to Notre Dame Church, I happened to pass by this park. According to several reviews, it’s a must-visit spot in Saigon, especially in the morning when most people come here for exercise. However, since I went there during lunchtime, it wasn’t too crowded. Despite the heat, there were plenty of shaded areas. Overall, I found the park to be quite pleasant.
• Large park with lots of space to work out in the morning. Multiple playgrounds and a semi-circular walking or jogging path Pre-painted badminton courts seemed popular.
• Beautiful trees to keep the sun out. Nice breeze the day we came. I enjoyed watching people play tai chi. Nice park.
