In 2006, when Brynn Crowell opened her own salon, she had a straightforward philosophy: Beauty should be sustainable.

Lox Salon is a proudly zero-waste, cruelty-free, and vegan salon that provides services such as haircuts, color, styling, nail services, and a variety of esthetics including facials and lash extensions. In addition, the salon is proud to offer these services.

The first Green Circle salon in the state of Tennessee, Lox Salon continues to fulfill the promise it made when it opened more than a decade ago to provide guests in the Old City of Knoxville with beauty without compromising the environment they all share.

Lox Salon underwent a major expansion in August of 2022! Downstairs, you’ll find their brand-new spa, which offers everything from Reiki to lash extensions and everything in between. Step inside and prepare to be transported. Come and unwind with them; you have earned it.

• Mika gave me a fantastic haircut today! I love that this salon is organic, vegan, and waste-free! All of these values are extremely important to me, so I couldn’t be happier to have discovered this salon! I’m sure I’ll return for more treatments… Reiki-infused facials could be my next destination.

But the cut is fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier.  She took her time making sure I liked the look, and she made me feel very welcome and cared for. The salon itself is lovely, well-kept, and located in the heart of downtown Knoxville, so it has historic value as well. Everyone was pleasant and professional.
