Sam Gould established a small hair salon in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1932. His goal was to provide his clients with a truly unique and professional fashion experience. Sam envisioned a sophisticated, upscale atmosphere, which was a Hollywood luxury at the time.

Sam’s vision was realized through his salons, and his name became a Memphis trademark. Gould’s evolved and grew, adding locations throughout the Greater Memphis area, and was eventually passed on to his sons Philip and David, who continue his commitment to providing a one-of-a-kind fashion experience.

In 1998, Gould’s opened its first Spa, extending services from hair care to body care. Each Gould’s Salon Spa location offers a comprehensive menu of body treatments, massages, facials, nail care, and Medi-Spa services.

Gould’s has the distinction of being the oldest multi-location Salon Spa in the industry, nearly a century after the first salon opened its doors. They employ and serve over 300 people between Gould’s Salon Spa locations and Luxe Salon Suites, and through Gould’s Academy, they educate and inspire the next generation.

• Everyone here is so friendly! Jessamine always does an excellent job with my hair. I would recommend Gould’s Salon Spa in Cordova to anyone looking for excellent service and friendly people.
• I’ve been going to this location since 2011 for everything from leg waxing to manicures and pedicures to hair colors and cuts, and the service is always excellent. My two toddlers have their hair cut here as well. I appreciated the wide range of services, which were also reasonably priced. The team is also usually available quickly.
• Kiani is by far the best hairdresser.  She is always on time and ensures that you are satisfied with the results of her work.  For years, I have recommended her to family and friends.  We appear to be content with her.  Make an appointment with her and see for yourself if you want someone to care about how you look!
